Gay Sonkran

Author: Gay Chiangmai 11 Apr 2013

With only a day or less to go before the onset of Songkran here’s an update on the gay things to do for Songkran in Chiang Mai.

With TAT forecasting a 10% increase on last year over 300,000 visitors are expected to visit Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand over the Songkran festival with hotel occupancy rates running at around 70%. Even despite the fact half the gay ex-pats seem to have left town there should be plenty of people around having fun.

Radchada Garden Café will be kicking off Songkran on 12th April with a pre Songkran party in the evening starting at 8 p.m. (N.B. after the party Radchada will be closed for the rest of Songkran)

Teak wood House in Chiang Mai

Club One SevenDown on the river in their beautiful antique teakwood mansion, Club One Seven Sauna and Guest house will be having a pool party each evening from 13-15 April 4.30p.m until 6.30p.m including free food and drinks. Theme is swimsuit or naked! As always, the Sauna Steam room and gym will be open until midnight. With so many tourists in town this is a great place to go and meet new friends.

Also down by the River, RAM bar is a great place to go and enjoy Songkran and they will open specially from 12 noon to 12 midnight on each of the 13, 14 and 15 April. If you’ve not been to RAM bar they are a great fun loving bunch of guys who will be sure to throw a good party.

Just off the moat near Thapae gate, Yokka Dok bar is a good place to retreat from the crowds around the moat yet still enjoy the fun. They are also having a Songkran Hawaii Night party on Saturday 13 April starting at 8 p.m.

Yokka Dok Songkran Hawaii Night

Soho bar already kicked off Songkran season last Saturday with their Mr Songkran 2013 swimsuit competition. You can check out the pictures on City Now – many a sight for sore eyes there. With a location a mere 100m from the main stage events at Kad Suan Kaew, Soho bar has always been a popular Songkran location and this year should be no exception with all day parties and revelry.

Just remember that both Soho and Yokka Dok locations will be hard to drive to during the day as the traffic is often gridlocked with zero parking and Huay Kaew Road is closed. Better to walk or use public transport if possible.

In previous years, there was often quite a gay contingent outside Lucky bar on the moat near Loi Kroh Road. However, given this was always an informal gathering and that there is an alcohol ban around the moat that may not be the case this year.

Evenings at Songkran are often an anti-climax with many people favouring a quiet dinner rather than a boisterous party after a day of water sport. However, Adam’s Apple Club is always popular with people going to see the show and maybe having a drink in the Garden Bar before.

Foam Party at See Man Pub

See Man Pub is also planning night time fun with foam parties on 13-15 April. Other hot activities at See Man Pub are:
13th APR: MISS WORLD BEAUTY CONTEST
14th APR: FOAM PARTY WITH OUR MUSCULAR HOT GUYS
15th APR: MISS SKINHEAD BEAUTY CONTEST

If you’re feeling hungry and want a respite from the water on Sunday don’t forget they do a great Sunday Roast at the Pub on Huay Kaew Road and it’s not too far to walk from the action.

The Wall Massage Songkran PromotionOr, if you want to escape for a massage try the special songkran promotion at The Wall Massage

Whilst others are leading the party charge, some places will be closed over Songkran. On Huay Kaew Road, Pern’s restaurant is closed for the entire month of April and will be re-opening on 2nd May with some major changes and a new menu. Radchada Garden Café in Santitham is also closed over Songkran 13-17 April.

Don’t forget, Songkran includes a host of official events too. Check out this guide on Chiang Mai City News for the full list and some other ideas about where to party.

Whatever you do have a HAPPY SONGKRAN and stay safe.

  1. [...] A few days ago, our friends at “Gay in Chiang Mai News” published an article on Club One Seven. You can read it here – http://www.gayinchiangmai.com/News/2013/club-one-seven-chiang-mai/ [...]

Sweet Akha Boy Sunny

Lots of Sunshine to start the New Year

1st January 2012 already seems a distant memory so, as we enter 2013, we thought we’d look back at some of the things that happened in gay Chiang Mai during 2012. The last year has seen significant changes in the demographics of the Chiang Mai gay scene, with the typical old fashioned foreign style gay bar seeing a decline, whilst trendy new places are definitely in the ascendancy.

We started 2012 with lots of Sunshine, and since this is a subject we have a definite soft spot for, couldn’t resist doing the same this year :) Wishing all of our readers a very Happy New Year in which we hope you find lots of sunshine of your own.

In January 2012 on gay in Chiang Mai we remembered the death of our friend David Crisp, brutally murdered by three boys he’d befriended. We also reported on the forthcoming opening of Mansfield Residence, a new boutique city resort in Santitham along with the closure of Twin Peaks and Jungle Juice bars in Sleaze Alley.

January went out with a bang, rather too literally as Khun Note, the owner of Radchada proved both conclusively and concussively that motorbikes are imperfect flying machines. Scary stuff in the Emergency Room at Chiang Mai RAM when the doctor pronounced Note’s injuries were life threatening. Fortunately, after some time in ICU and an intervention by a very skilful surgeon, Note is back to normal and boasting that he now has more titanium than silicon is his face.

CU Bar at Night Bazaar

CU Bar at Night Bazaar

February saw several changes in the Chiang Mai scene. The start of the month saw Secrets Bar and CU bar relocate into the adjacent covered area overlooking the night bazaar car park, whilst the only remaining sleaze alley Bar, Milky Way moved to the front of the alley.

Whilst the changes were a definite improvement, some of the benefits didn’t last. The bathrooms, which we have to say were beyond disgusting in the old location, were markedly better. Sadly, it seems janitorial skills and basic maintenance are not considered as important here. The current facilities are already un-pleasant, the decline over just a few months having been noticeably rapid.

The nature of the bars has changed too. Secrets Bar seems to have lost the young kids who used to play pool there, and become a good quiet place just to go for a drink, without being pestered by the rougher hill tribe hustlers. CU Bar on the other hand, seems to want to be all things to everyone and many say it has lost some of its previous attraction.

February witnessed one of the biggest events the Chiang Mai gay scene has seen in ages. See Man Pub opened on Canal Road (close to Nimmanheminda area). In less than a year this large modern gay club has transformed the Chiang Mai scene shifting it away from the fading downtown and night bazaar areas to the happening parts of Nimmanheminda and Santitham. A process that has accelerated throughout the year with both the closure of Mandalay Bar and a campaign of drink driving checks around the Night Bazaar orchestrated to drive seedy nightlife out of the tourist and cultural areas.

See Man Pub

Following their formal launch party in March, See Man Pub has continued to grow in popularity throughout the year and is now the must visit gay venue in Chiang Mai.

See Man Pub Foam Party

The good news is that, unlike Mandalay, foreigners are welcome at See Man too. It’s open late but Friday and Saturday’s are packed so it’s better to go a little early to get a table. They have been arranging a number of special events throughout the year with various contests and foam parties proving popular.

February also saw the opening of RAM coffee and bar A nice modern coffee shop located right next to River House massage, though the location is a bit distant from any other gay venues. During the course of the year they gave up on coffee, but the bar is still open in the evening and attracts a small regular following of old generation ex-pats.

March saw the launch of the Rainbowcard, Asia-Pacific’s first international GLBT Lifestyle Card.

Visit the Rainbow Card Website to discover details of GLBT business offering discounts or promotions to cardholders and to apply for a free card. To see the businesses accepting RainbowCard in Chiang Mai visit www.rainbow-card.gayinchiangmai.com

A downside for March and April this year was the bad smog and smoke which returned to blight Chiang Mai, this year seemed worse than several previous years disproving government assertions that things were improving. However, this was also the year when they unveiled a novel solution

On a sad note, April was the month in which we said good bye to another friend who succumbed to something almost forgotten these days.

April started with a big party for the grand opening of Mansfield Residence Boutique City resort in the heart of gay Santitham. This lavish project aims at providing five star hotel class accommodation yet retaining the intimate, private and discreet nature of a gay guest house.

Mansfield Hot Male sexy boys

Some of the show boys at Mansfield’s opening party

April is the height of hot season and a time when the boys head of to Chiang Mai Riviera better known as Huai Tung Thao lake located off the Canal Road a few Km North of the 700 year stadium. This large lake is a popular destination to escape the city for a few hours relaxation and swimming.

Fun at Huai Tung Thao

End of a great afternoon's fun with the boys at Huai Tung Thao

Of course, the most aggressiveness cooling off is done at the Songkran traditional New Year water festival and this year was no exception with the party seeming to go on for ever.

May was a busy month and with twenty two articles marked our biggest month on Chiang Mai Gay News. The first of May was a landmark for Radchada Garden Cafe which transitioned from being a daytime cafe to extending it’s opening hours to provide an evening bar service. It also added a larger range of Italian food dishes to it’s existing selection of Pizzas and Pasta.

Radchada Garden Cafe

Radchada Garden Café

May was also the month when arithmetical difficulties almost left the staff at the Garden Bar witless. With Idaho day on 17th May it was also a month to remember that, despite tremendous advances in gay rights, there is still a long way to go.

June was definitely old Queen’s month with the U.K. celebration of sixty years on the throne which it seemed the rest of the world joined in too, or at least in Chiang Mai the party seemed that way at The Pub. The Pub has remained a gay favorite in 2012 with the early evening gay gathering for Sunday lunch getting ever more popular.

As the low season started to bite we saw the start of the phoney party wars as bar owners became evermore desperate to try and pull in a few more punters. The competition was tough but the Bon Tong award for silliest party theme was the knobbly Knees at Ram Bar, well maybe they called it sexy legs but whatever :)

July heralded the birth of another gay business as we formally launched Bon Tong Productions providing a web design service specifically aimed at gay businesses.

Bon Tong Production Logo

One of Bon Tong’s first projects was a new website for Adam’s Apple club:

Adam's Apple Club Website

Check out the site live at: www.adamsappleclub.com

July also saw the end of a Chiang Mai gay institution as Mandalay, affectionately known as Mandagay closed down.

In August much excitement was caused by the announced re-opening of Chiang Mai’s legendary gay bar Coffee Boy. This was quickly followed by disillusionment as it turned about to be the Coffee Shack, actually called Chiang Mai 19 (boy).

September was a quiet month, as it always is in Chiang Mai. The guys at Bon Tong Productions took the opportunity to make some changes to this website, including the introduction of a complete new gay guide to complement our existing guide on www.radchada.com. In October we further extended the changes by adding a fully interactive events calendar to the site. We also updated our quick reference guide to Chiangmai gay venues: all the addresses in Thai on a single page – ideal to carry with you and show a Tuk-Tuk driver. Download it here.

In October Soulmates Retreat, a small luxury gay owned resort out side Chiang Mai, appeared on the scene. Located in beautiful countryside with views of paddy-fields and mountains near Doi Saket, Soulmates Retreat sets new standards for luxury gay accommodation.

Soulmates Retreat

Soulmates Retreat – Luxury gay resort with beautiful views

Soulmates is the second new addition to the luxury gay accommodation market following Mansfield Residence in the Santitham area. 2012 was a good year for gay accommodation in Santitham with new gay owned guest house QI 68 also opening here, and the much awaited new villas at Santitham Guest House finally opening to the public. Soho Bar and Guest House has also been making improvements to its rooms, or for the more budget concious, the B2 (Boutique and Budget) hotel chain has now opened it’s third property in Santitham and a B2 Premier in the Nimmanheminda area.

Pizza Chiang Mai

Khun Note with a freshly baked twelve inch pizza at Radchada Garden Cafe

October was also when Radchada Garden Cafe launched its very popular Free Pizza Buffet on Monday nights. Radchada’s Pizza’s are twelve inch Italian style thin crust, baked to order in a sizzling hot oven with fresh ingredients and quality Mozarella cheese. Undoubtedly the best Pizza in Santitham and the gayest Pizza in Chiang Mai. :)

As you can see from his picture, it’s wonderful to see Khun Note made a full recovery from his accident back in January

Since extending opening hours into the evening, 2012 has been a good year for Radchada Garden Cafe which, in November, celebrated it’s first anniversary with a well attended party. See the pictures here

The culmination of the year was the recognition of Radchada’s popularity by the readers of Out in Thailand magazine, who voted Radchada Garden Café as the readers choice for best Restaurant and Café in Chiang Mai. We were doubly honoured when our sister website from Bon Tong productions, www.radchada.com won the award for best local website for the second year running.

SpaTacus Chiang Mai

The gay massage business offering massage for men by men also saw some development in Chiang Mai during 2012. The first new venue was Spatacus off Loi Kroh Road. Around Chiang Mai Land two more massage shops were added close to the Blues Club, His Club and One 2 come.

boys at Heaven Massage

New massage and spa Heaven Massage is situated right across the road from Blues Club whilst another new venue Sixty Nine club is in a back soi just around the corner in a smart Thai style villa house

On the down side, M Massage and Spa closed down, along with the short lived five on Chiang Moi. The Wall Massage had a small wobble and closed briefly but has now re-opened under new management.

It would appear the massage business is tough in Chiang Mai. With at least sixteen gay massage parlours it seems there is hardly enough business to go around and it’s a hard market for new entrants to penetrate with the happy endings perhaps destined only for the clients rather than the businesses themselves.

November was a strange month with the 2555 Loy Khratong festival falling late this year on 28 November. Normally the weather cools and is very pleasant in November. Following last years floods 2012′s weather in Chiang Mai has been far from normal. Rainy season was more of a cloudy season, that extended until early December before the temperatures finally fell. Loy Khratong was nearly washed out as the main parade narrowly escaped heavy rain.

Also noteworthy in 2012 was rising star Pern’s Restaurant located on Huay Kaew Road. Though not specifically gay and with a mixed clientelle, Pern’s is gay owned and has many affecionados in the Chiang Mai gay ex-pat community. Chef Brian has over 35 years international cooking experience and is amply assisted by his partner Pong. Their normal offerings are excellent Mediterranean style food at realistic prices, but their specials nights have offered a variety of cuisines and are proving very popular.

Pern's Restaurant

Pern’s is situated on Huay Kaew Road in the same block as the well Known Lemon Tree Restaurant (opposite the Shell Gas Station) and 200M west from Soho Bar

Another rising star however turned super nova and died in a few short months. The well-known Glass Onion had expanded significantly with the addition of an outdoor café bar Cosmos café and a speciality wine shop. Clearly over reached, the next step was to recruit some very cute Isaan money boys to woo the customers. Sadly it had the opposite effect and all the venues had closed up by September.

Meanwhile, Chris, the Glass Onion’s former owner had opened another small bar on Nimmanhaeminda Soi 1. More like someone’s living room than a bar this venue started off well, but after some difficulties with the landlady, it all imploded in a few short weeks.

Out in Thailand Magazine October front cover

In the media Chiang Mai received some interesting coverage with several articles reflecting the changes in Chiang Mai and it’s gay scene along with the rise of Santitham as the center of gay life. The November issue of Thai Puan contains an article by David Edwards called “Santitham – The New Chiang Mai” and Out in Thailand’s special feature on Chiang Mai by Guy Burroughs in the October Issue was called Chiang Mai – All change in the Jungle city. Bon tong’s opinions can be found here on Chiang Mai City News blog article The Santitham Renaissance.

In December we produced our high season update on the state of the Chiang Mai gay scene. Looking back on the year its been interesting to note the decline in the traditional style bars. More and more we see younger visitors and gay couples coming to Chiang Mai looking for a vibrant tourist destination and who have zero interest in going to places where prostitutes hang out.

Happy New Year to all our readers for 2013

RAM BarMansfield Residence

Mid December and a delayed cool season has finally arrived in Chiang Mai  ushering in the high season, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to provide an update on the gay scene here.  Although the gay venues themselves haven’t changed so much, we’ve noticed quite a change in where people go and the entertainment favoured by gay ex-pats over the last couple of years.

Suan Dok gate Chiang Mai

Beautiful cool seasons skies over Suan Dok Gate

Chiang Mai’s traditional “gay bars” seem much less popular than they were, whilst new mixed modern venues are very much in the ascendency.  Much of Chiang Mai’s gay social scene has now shifted away from the traditional tourist enclaves around the night bazaar and Thapae gate to the up and coming cosmopolitan areas of Santitham and Nimmanheminda to the north west of the old city.

The big success story of 2012 has been the opening of Chiang Mai’s first specifically gay club – See Man Pub in the Nimmanheminda area.   Whilst attracting primarily a Thai clientele this, mega venue has built up a modest farang following too.  This large Thai style club is in a modern, air-conditioned pavilion.  Nightly shows include ladyboy acts and many attractive coyote boys.  It’s open until very late and is often packed to capacity, especially at weekends.  In the few months it has been open See Man Pub has established itself as the standard bearer of gay entertainment in Chiang Mai.

See Man Pub

The Nimmanheminda area is home to several other large clubs too, although not specifically gay these places are all quite popular with gay Thais and in the know farangs.  Best known is Warm Up Cafe, whilst others include Monkey Club, Tawaeng Deang and Infinity (just around the corner from See Man Pub).  The small sois off Nimmanheminda road have seen explosive growth in wine bars, coffee shops and boutique restaurant’s making this the fashionable part of town.  Although none are specifically gay, these venues, by their nature are ultra-gay friendly and attract many gay customers.

Gay Chiang mai Boys at Freeguy ClubAnother noticeable change has been the deepening divide between the Commercial bars, or houses of prostitution, and the general social scene.  Perhaps it’s a sign of modernisation in Thailand’s social structure, moral values and the improved economic fortunes that many now enjoy.   Not only are there very few money boys to be found in the non-commercial bars, but young Thai’s are now far less likely to go to places where prostitutes hang out for fear of being labelled as prostitutes themselves.

Of Gay Chiang Mai’s five male Go-Go bars, or more accurately host bars with sexy shows and nudity, Adam’s Apple Club is the only one with real go-go.  Adam’s and Free Guy Club are the two host bars most popular with Farangs whilst New My Way and Circle Pub are more orientated towards a Thai market, and increasingly attract women customers.

The much vaunted opening of Chiang Mai 19 (boy) in the grounds of the old Coffee Boy was a disappointment.   Expectations of a return to the opulent Teak Wood antique house that defined Chiang Mai’s legendary gay venue of two or three decades ago were dashed by the discovery that the new bar was a shoddy tin roofed shack with more mama-sans than boys.

More than ever the guys working in the host bars are almost exclusively straight Tai Yai from the Shan State, many have been there for years and continue to work despite being well past retirement age.  Many of our friends are Tai Yai, and very nice people, not to mention often extremely handsome with quite macho looks.  They suffer the adversities of their lives in Thailand without complaint, yet one must understand how things are.  Gay is not accepted in Shan culture in the way it is by Thai’s and most Shan bar boys are super straight; often married with children.  Although they work in the bars to make a living don’t expect too much gayness from them if you take one to your room.

Sexy Shan Boys

Sexy Guys from The Shan State

The bigger sector of Chiang Mai’s male prostitution business remains the massage shops, there are sixteen in our listings spread all over town but the area around Chiang Mai Land, a few kilometres south of the city centre has a cluster with two new places, Heaven and Club Sixty Nine opening this year to join the existing Blues Club, One 2 Come, His Club, and Victory Massage.

Probably the biggest impact on gay social scene demographics has been the smart phone and applications like grindr Jackd and Hornet  After Gaydar and Gay Romeo have already put a large dent in the role of the traditional gay bar as somewhere to meet people for sex, these mobile apps may well be the final nail in the coffin.  Just as many old-fashioned gay bars in western cities are headed the way of the Dodo, so it seems are many gay bars in Chiang Mai.  As more and more of the younger Thai generation become netizens and can now afford smart phones they can go anywhere to enjoy a night out whilst meeting new sexdates on-line, often identifying  those close by or even in the same bar using this technology.

Gay Bar in Gay Chiang MaiSo what of Chiang Mai’s traditional gay bars?  Increasingly they are becoming like the communal lounge of an old folks home, the place where Chiang Mai’s twilight generation of gay ex-pats meet up for a glass of wine whilst reminiscing about the old days when boys were everywhere.  When 200Bt bought a quick blow job from a hill tribe boy in the bar’s toilets and 500Bt would buy whatever take home sexual gratification you cared to imagine.

Gone are the friendly young Thai gay guys of yesteryear, all that you’ll find these days in the more traditional (non prostitute) bars is a few old carpet bagger money boys acting like matron to the bars geriatric occupants.   No easy 500Bt sex here, these are guys who’re only interested in hooking their tricks for the house and car inheritance. Of course, the prophecy of demise for the traditional gay bar is self-fulfilling.  Once these places become nothing more than social meeting places the gay requirement evaporates.   After all, gay people can enjoy social intercourse in so many of Chiang Mai’s hundreds of bars, restaurants and cafes which are quite gay friendly; who needs gay bars?

Indeed, this is what is happening.  With new trendy venues opening almost weekly around Nimmanheminda and Santitham gay expats are increasingly choosing such places to meet and socialise.  Those gay businesses that will survive are those that adapt to the changing market and offer more than just a place to sit and talk with the cute bar staff or engage prostitutes.  More and more smart mixed venues which offer food are becoming the replacement for the traditional Chiang Mai bar.  Some successful examples of such venues run by gay entrepreneurs include Sabbai Dee Santitham, Spirit House, West Restaurant, Perns Restaurant, The Wine Shoppe and Radchada Garden Café.

If you are visiting Chiang Mai this high season come with an open mind and a smart phone.  If you come expecting the traditional Thai gay scene of old you’ll likely be disappointed.  Instead, make an effort to explore the modern Chiang Mai and discover what it has to offer.  I’m sure you’ll be back.

  3. ben says:

Yes i am in chiang mai for commercial sex because i like thai yai men. But had really terrible experiences both at circle pub and new my way, all i need to say is be away from these 2 bars, rude guys, they even dont let them to be kissed and touched, 3 nights ago i send the boy from my room and said bye bye, cause he says no touch no kiss and i said ok bye bye, then he said give me 500 baht ( for what even not touched? ) i said no go away , and he was very angry to me and about to kick me, just gave him 100baht for tuk tuk and he went. Then i called the mamasan (new my way )and told the event and the answer was the boy is not gay ………beleive it or not he said me he is not gay so this is normal. Then he left the phone open and i waited him on the phone 10minutes then closed. Rude, rude, Do never go there.
Be away from these 2 bars. Yes apple is fine but just call a massage in your room for only 1500baht , why to pay money for a beer 250 baht and 300baht for the bar and 1500 for the boy , no way. Massage parlors is my fav. from now on.

It seems competition in the massage business is hotting up down in Chiang Mai Land with Club Sixty Nine the second new gay massage for men to have opened this year close to the recently opened Heaven Massage and Spa and long established Blues Club.

Club Sixty Nine Massage is located in a large modern thai style premises with gardens, discreetly located in a small residential soi behind the main Chiangmai Land road.

Here are some more pictures of Club Sixty Nine and their massage boys. Check out their website sixtynineclub.com for more pictures of all their staff. From what we hear from friends who’ve visited Sixty Nine Club is a very OK place with some great boys.

Located right on the bank of the Ping River a little way to the south of Chiang Mai City center, is Club one Seven, one of Chiang Mai’s, more unusual gay venues. A genuine 130 year old Northern Thai or Lanna style Teak wood house has been fully refurbished to provide the setting for the Club One Seven Guesthouse and Sauna surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden.

In the last few months there have been several new venues open in Chiang Mai, and a few closed too. Here is our summary:

The biggest new venue for some time to arrive on the scene is See Man Pub. This large, purpose built, modern style venue is located on the Canal Road near Phucome intersection with Huay Kaew Road and opposite the Phucome Hotel.

Two new Guest houses have opened in the Santitham Area, QI 68 is on Santirak Road and Mansfield Residence on Viang Bua soi 4.

At the Night Bazaar, CU Bar and Secrets bar have moved to new locations and seem to be doing bettert business there. Meanwhile, in the old Sleaze Alley, Milky Way moved to the front of the Soi and Twin peaks recently re-opened. These are the only bars left here and it’s very quiet.

There is one new Massage place, Spa Tacus, but some others have disappeared, notably The Wall, Club M-Massage, and Five on Chiang Moi.

Several bars have closed: Cheerleaders Bar, Memory by Doi Boy, La La and DTs; however, the bar at one-2 come massage has re-opened under new management

Ram Coffee is a nice new place to get a coffee down near the river. Last but not least don’t forget our friends at Radchada Garden Café. Radchada Garden Café is now open until 10 p.m. as well as a full service bar where you can sit and enjoy a drink, Radchada has an excellent menu of Italian food including thin crust Pizza

There was nothing remotely gay about my spatacus massage. It gave me no feeling at all. I was encouraged to accept the aromatherapy massage and I asked for a scrub. There was only one guy there to do the massage on a saturday night. He told me to take a shower, he covered me with a scrub then gave me my damp towel and told me to go take a shower. At this point I was considering just leaving but I thought surely theings would get better. He kept his clothes on the whole time, kept me covered with a towel, said 10 words max and I was truly just waiting for it to be over. Now I know why the price includes a tip: they wouldn’t get one otherwise. Sorry Spatacus,, I am not a good customer for you.

This week saw another opening party in Chiang Mai for yet another Massage parlour cum Spa. SpaTacus Spa for men is situated in the tourist part of town on Loy Kroh Soi 2.
